UV climatology for the Tartu Observatory site
Correlative relationships between total ozone and atmospheric characteristics were studied on the basis of aerological sounding data for the period 1979-2002 at Tallinn/Harku station. A UV climatology was established for the Tartu Observatory site over the period 1955-2002 using data of daily sunshine duration, daily sums of broadband data and daily average clound amount/type combined with TOMS derived data for the calculation of irradiance.
