QC/QA at the Database

Deliverable 6.1 [RIVM]
Flagging spectral irradiance for wavelength shifts and spectral anomalies

Spectral data within the database are analysed and flagged according to the following criteria:
  • wavelength errors (shifts) for two wavelength regions
  • instrument sensitivity (lowest measurable irradiance)
  • spike detection
  • spectral distortion (due to variable conditions during the scan)
  • irradiance-scale errors

More than 1,000,000 spectra have now been analysed.
