Spectral data within the database are analysed and flagged according to the
following criteria:
- wavelength errors (shifts) for two wavelength regions
- instrument sensitivity (lowest measurable irradiance)
- spike detection
- spectral distortion (due to variable conditions during the scan)
- irradiance-scale errors
More than 1,000,000 spectra have now been analysed.
