Development of FastRT model
A new version of the NPI Fastrt tool is available (Version 2.0, November 2002). The FastRT provides fast numerical simulations of spectral ultraviolet irradiances, doses and indices at the Earth's surface. It is now runable on-line at http://zardoz.nilu.no/~olaeng/fastrt/fastrt.html Source code is available from the author, and will also be available via the Web pages in the near future, together with a quality assurance tool for measured UV spectra. Documentation of the software, including an error analysis, is available at the Web page. Improvements to the FastRT tool include options for variable cloud cover and thickness, aerosol loading and surface albedo. the official web page for the fastrt model
