The European UV Database currently contains irradiance data from 24 measuring sites in 14 countries, submitted by 19 separate institutes.

In total, there are over 5 Gbytes of global irradiance data covering the years from 1989 to 2000. Six stations have also submitted 282 Mbytes of direct irradiance data.

The contents of the database have not changed since the December 2000 report. Data submission will begin in July 2001. The following table (Word document) summarises the spectral irradiance data, tabulated by measuring site, that have been collected in preparation for submission to the database.

A comprehensive web-page interface giving full search and retrieval access to the UV database became operational at the end of June 2001.

The next database report will be published in December 2001.
